Summary
Josie Geller (Drew Barrymore) is a copy editor for the Chicago Sun-Times. She is a hard-working gal, trying to reach her dream of becoming a reporter. She is finally given the chance to prove her writing skills, when her boss assigns her to produce an undercover report about high-school life. Josie is ecstatic. She enrolls as a high-school student and is determined to write an awesome report. However, Josie comes to find out that high-school hasn’t changed a bit. People are as gruesome and mean as they were when she was in high-school. Josie is desperately trying to fit in, and falls in love with her teacher (Michael Vartan) along the way.
